I struggle to find my place in this world sometimes. My calling, my passion, my burden...my purpose. It seems as though when you are finished with one thing another confronts you out of the blue. You try to live right and do the right thing but it is hard to assess all the information that comes your way.
As a young woman you think about personal and professional development.....being found acceptable my your parents...being marriage material and ensuring that you hold the maternal instinct when it comes time to bare the babies.
Who can forget the cooking and cleaning and homemaking skills that we are expected to hold.
It is so easy to lose yourself in the bus-y-ness of life. So easy to lose what you loved to do trying so hard to meet the expectation of another.
You want to know the master plan....where you fit in...in all of this. You want to be taught by the right person so you can teach the right thing. One that would not condemn and torture for the lack of knowing. You want some time to escape the changes which are many. To take a breath...too smell the coffee or herb tea...You just want to shout WAIT!!!
Psalm 46:8-10
" Attention, all! See the marvels of God!
He plants flowers and trees all over the earth,
Bans war from pole to pole,
breaks all the weapons across his knee.
"Step out of the traffic! Take a long,
loving look at me, your High God,
above politics, above everything."
